Intelcan is pleased to announce that it has appointed Ziad Nader as CEO and President effective April 9th, 2018. Ziad’s appointment is a clear reflection of the company’s focus to aggressively pursue growth in its product line businesses specifically in the Navigational Aids and ATM market. In his previous role as Vice-President of Research & Development at Intelcan, Ziad oversaw the design, development, manufacturing and deployment of the SkyNav Instrument Landing Systems (ILS) and SkyNav Distance Measuring Equipment (DME). Ziad’s growth strategy for Intelcan also includes expanding its aeronautical solutions business by pursuing large integration projects for airports and air navigation service providers around the world.
“While we are focused on growing our product business, we do intend to bolster the historical business and leading position of Intelcan as system integrator in the aviation solutions marketplace”, explains Ziad, “Intelcan has built up invaluable expertise in this field in its forty-plus years of existence and we intend to leverage it.”
Ziad joined Intelcan in 2009 to establish an R&D center in Montreal, where he assembled a multi-disciplinary team of highly skilled engineers to design and deploy state-of-the-art technologies for the aviation industry. Prior to Intelcan, he was director of R&D and Customer Solutions, at BlueTree Wireless, where he designed wireless machine-to-machine and Internet of Things equipment for industrial and public safety applications.
